Men's Basketball Falls to Piedmont

Berea, KY- The men's basketball team welcomed Piedmont College to the Seabury Center on December 10, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. for their fifth home game this season.  Berea fell behind in the first half and failed to pull ahead in the second half, falling to the Lions 71-60.  The Mountaineers overall record for this season is now 3-4 and they fall to 0-2 in conference play.

At half time Piedmont led Berea 29-23. Hadyn Roe led the first half with 8 points and 6 rebounds. Deandre Lightfoot added 6 points 3 rebounds in the first half as well.  Berea shot 32 percent from the field and committed 4 turnovers in the first half.

Overall, Berea shot 39 percent in free-throws. Hadyn Roe led the Mountaineers with a total of 16 points, 1 assist and 7 rebounds. Dyonta Bizzle brown also led with a total of 12 points, 2 assists and 4 rebounds. Berea committed 11 turnovers. 

On December the 16th the men will be traveling to LaGrange College where they will take on the Panthers at 4:00 P.M.
