Men's Indoor Competes at Capital Invite

The men's indoor track team competed in their second meet of the season at Capital University on Saturday.

The brother tandem of Jeremy and Jeffrey Johnson highlighted the meet for the Mountaineers, as Jeremy captured eight points with his second place finish in the 5000m Run.  Jeffrey finished in fifth place and was awarded four points.  Jeremy Johnson also competed in the 3000m Run, coming in fourth and gaining five additional points for the squad.

Austin Johnson also performed well, placing in the top ten in the 500m Run.  In addition, he was on the Berea 4x200m Relay team (Powell, Boyd, Short, Johnson) that placed fourth.

The Berea runners will now turn their attention to the Outdoor Track season, which opens March 22 when the Mountaineers host their home invitational.
