Men’s Indoor Posts 10th Place Finish at Cedarville Invitational

The men's indoor track team posted a tenth-place finish Friday evening in Cedarville, OH.

The highlight of the meet for the squad came in the 5000m run as sophomore Jeremy Johnson garnered the ten first-place points, finishing in 15:38.94.  Older brother Jeffery Johnson finished third, with fellow Mountaineer Tarrance O'Connor coming in seventh.

The 4x400 team of Tyler Powell , Austin Johnson, Logan Short and Casey Monti also finished in seventh place.  Sophomore Logan Short notched a top ten finish (9th) in the 400m dash.

The meet was the first of the season for the squad.  Berea will take a week off before participating in the Capitol Invite in Columbus, OH, on February 22.
