Men's Track and Field Take Second Place at Lindsey Wilson Invitational

The men's track and field team placed second out of seven teams in their second meet of the season at the Lindsey Wilson Invitational.  The team tallied 155.5 points, defeating their nearest competitor Campbellsville (103 points).

David Orr took top honors for the Mountaineers, placing first in the Javelin, garnering 10 points. Ali Djire, Tevin Webster, John Willis, Aldrin Vinton also took top honors for the 4x100 Meter Relay with 10 points; Emmanuel Kemei scored 10 points in the 100 Meter Dash. Webster took first place and Vinton took second place in the long jump.

The track and field team will travel to Danville, KY this Saturday, April 4th to compete at 49th Annual Centre College Track & Field Invitational. Events begin at 9:00 AM.
