Berea, KY- The women's basketball team welcomed Wesleyan College to the Seabury Center on February 1, 2018 at 5:00 P.M. for their eleventh home game this season. In the end the Mountaineers defeated the Wolves with a final score of 83-32. Their overall record for this season is now 16-3 and 8-2 in the conference.
At halftime Berea led Wesleyan 43-22. Adriana Williams led the first half with 8 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist. Zacchea Small also added 6 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists in the first half as well. Berea shot 39 percent from the field and committed 11 turnovers in the first half.
The Mountaineers remained in the lead throughout the second half and defeated the Wolves 83-32 Overall, Berea shot 38% percent from the field and 70.8% from the line. The Mountaineers were led by Adriana Williams and Savannah Fallis each dropping 12 points. Briana Lanham also scored in the double digits scoring 10 points. Nakeisha Greene led the Mountaineers under the glass pulling in 8 total rebounds.
The Mountaineers will be travelling to Agnes Scott on Friday, February 2nd where they will be taking on the Scottish Terriers at 7:30 P.M.
