Berea, KY- The women's soccer team opened a USA South doubleheader with the men's soccer team this afternoon at the Berea College Sports Complex. The conference action saw the Mountaineers take on divisional opponent, the Huntingdon College Hawks to begin the afternoon.
The first shot of the game went into the back of the net for the visitors as the Hawks took a quick 1-0 lead at the 3:37 mark. Berea's offense continued to search for its rhythm as Huntingdon added another goal to its lead in the seventh minute to take a 2-0 advantage.
